President CEO of The Historic Trust gets new job

first_imgMike True Mike True is leaving The Historic Trust after 12 years on staff. But he’s not going very far, only half a mile down the road to the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.True served most recently as the trust’s president and chief executive officer, but was first hired as the finance manager and worked his way up the chain.“It’s a bittersweet thing because I love my role here at The Historic Trust,” True said. “This is just a great opportunity for me moving forward.”He will serve as chief financial officer for M.J. Murdock starting in July, when he officially leaves The Historic Trust. True is staying on staff through the annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration.“We are grateful for Mike’s creativity, tenacity and leadership as president and CEO for the past three years,” said Stacey Graham, chair of The Historic Trust board. “With his help, the board of directors has repositioned The Historic Trust for the future, expanding our efforts in the areas of education and outreach and historic preservation and property management. We are very glad that he is staying in our community and will be working with the Murdock Charitable Trust, a partner and friend of THT for many years, through many projects.”last_img read more
